This entry is for those who love off-the-beaten-path places, immersion in nature, frolicking in waterfalls, and eating fruits freshly picked from trees. Located in the northwest of Grenada, far away from touristic areas on the island, Grayish Bay organic Estate is as unique as accommodations get in Grenada.
The estate in the midst of dense lush greenery and has a rustic, out of the page of a magazine, charm to it.
On the site of a former French molasses estate, the estate now grows organic cocoa used at the onsite chocolate factory where the best artisanal chocolate in Grenada is created. Staying at any one of the two accommodations on the property gives you free access to roam around the estate. You can also learn about the creation of chocolate, from growing cocoa plants to production. Yes, you will get some chocolate as well.

The two accommodations, the Little House and the Tree House can be booked on Airbnb. You will be surrounded by nature, be close to the sea, and have breathtaking forest and ocean views.

I must warn you to take insect repellent and light-weight long sleeves clothes. Look for a repellent that can work on the chocolate midge flies. These tiny biting flies are the only things able to pollinate cocoa plants. There are many of them at Grayish Bay Organic Estate! But don't let these pesky flies dissuade you from booking a stay at one of the two accommodation because the location is amazing.
With an initial view of the estate like the one below, you will likely spend the time outdoors.
Working with locals, I provide you with uniquely curated experiences and recommendations that get you off the beaten track and into the heart of the community you travel to.
